ECommerce for Business Plans

Please note that the MHS Personal Plan does not include ECommerce. Sites that set up ECommerce through their MHS Admin Panel will be deleted immediately. You are free to set up Ecommerce through a third party service if you like, but you cannot host your secure pages on our servers. For an extra $10 annually you can purchase the SOHO Plan and you can set up ECommerce.

All of our business plans include OS Commerce which is a very popular and well tested free shopping cart. You simply need to use our automated install script from your Admin Panel and then customize your new shopping cart.

You will need to purchase an SSL Certificate and install it on your site to allow for total secure functionality of your cart. You will also need a dedicated IP address. The cost for the both is $1.25 a month for the IP and about $50-$150 a year for a Secure Certificate. Note also that many Merchant Account Services or Processors include a secure link with their services.
